World Of Warcraft File Size
Found my way back to apple with a new Macbook Pro (from windows), and just wondering what the size of a full wow download is? Or if there is a way to convert my existing some or all of my wow files to be usable?
Essentially my main concern is eliminating as much of the size of the download (a few gigs would be ideal, but if i recall my old wow folder was >20gig.) since downloading masses of data may prove challenging.
Anyway, any help appreciated.

Then I got a call saying that they will be a week or two late. Wow.exe is an executable file that runs World of Warcraft, a massive multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) developed by Blizzard Entertainment. This file is not a critical Windows component and can be removed if known to create problems. World of Warcraft is the fourth installment in the Warcraft universe.
That is the current size of my World of Warcraft folder. Our WoW System Requirements page lists 25 GB of storage space.
So what you could do is install it and when it starts to download quit and replace with data folder from your windows install.

Hey guys, I am returning to WOW after 5yrs! It feels good to be back. I am wondering if I can install WOW for my Surface Pro? If so, is there a way to shrink it so it uses up less space?
Not much of a way to shrink it I'm afraid.
WoW plays surprisingly well on my Surface Pro. I wouldn't try raiding on it, but for just screwing around and questing it's great.
