Getting Started

Download and install Minion. Once the install finishes Minion should start to load. Just follow the simple prompts and Minion will find your games and AddOns.

Creating Backups

To use this feature you will need an account.

• Select a game you'd like to backup your AddOns from the 'My Games' list to the left.
• Press the 'Backup' tab located next to the 'Options' tab.
• Click the input field and enter a name for your backup.
• Click the [Backup] button located next to the name you entered and Minion will backup the following:
• World of Warcraft:
• Game Settings: All game setting files located in the WTF folder.
• AddOn Settings: All saved variable files located in the WTF folder.
• Installed AddOns: A list of installed AddOns in your AddOn folder.
• Elder Scrolls Online:
• Game Settings: All game setting files located in Elder Scrolls Online documents folder.
• AddOn Settings: All saved variable files located in Elder Scrolls Online documents folder.
• Installed AddOns: A list of installed AddOns in your AddOn folder.

Restoring Backups

• Press the 'Backup' tab located next to the 'Options' tab.
• Click on the name of the Backup you'd like to restore from the list.
• Click the [Restore] button and the backup will:
• Re-download all your AddOns from the snapshot list it took.
• Delete current game settings and restore your game settings from the backup
• Delete current AddOn settings and restore your game settings (saved variables).

Minion Not Detecting Addons For Android

Uninstalling

Uninstalling Minion is easy. It works just like any standard application.

• Windows

  Open your windows control panel and go to add/remove programs. Find Minion in the list and choose to uninstall.

• Mac

  Open your applications folder and drag the Minion app to your trash.
  To delete Minion settings open a terminal and type 'rm -r ~/.minion'.

Known Issues

• Expert Hunter countdown doesn’t extend (as the actual ability do)
• Daedric Curse timer tracks from when it was cast, not from when it affects the target. As such, it might be off by a second or two depending on the distance to the target.
• Timers need fine-tuning, for example some now depend also on skill rank
• Ligtning Splash does not do a good job to detect when the cast is aborted and usually display countdown anyway
• If you use redefine keys to mouse buttons, the abilities that is solely detected by the key detection routine will fail to be detected (yes, room for improvement in the code here).
• As you already have proven, it doesn’t always work if you redefine the keys to mouse buttons.
• Sometimes at load of new scene or mount/dismount, a timer might display in large icon. Remedy is to toogle the ability (until I do a propoer job on the code)

Possible Future Features

• More exact timing
• More abilities with a duration
• Modify Mage’s Fury depending on targets health above/below 20%
• Display countdowns in time order, i.e. 1 sec left before the one with 2 sec left
• Summoned creature HP display (currently not possible as far as I know due to limitations in the game API)
• Improve with new functions and events available in Update 7, if possible
• Add class skills for non-sorcerers *New in 2.2.0*

Controls

• Set “Show repositioning help” to ON in the settings
• Left-click and drag to reposition the windows
• Set “Show repositioning help” to OFF in the settings to get rid of the repositioning windows and lock the icons

Eso Addons Not Showing Up

Installation:

Go to the “ESO” folder in your Documents

For Windows: C:UsersDocumentsElder Scrolls Online
For Mac: ~/Documents/Elder Scrolls Online//

You should find an ESO AddOns folder, if you don’t, create one.
Extract the addon from downloaded zip file to the AddOns folder
